Description

Parvovirus serology testing done as part of a clinical screen (eg TORCH) will only be reported when all tests on the current (and if applicable a previous or booking sample) have been completed


Indications

In combination with IgM: to look for acute infection IgG on its own: Determine immunity against parvovirus, usually following an exposure

Clotted Blood (Yellow top), serum , plasma
